NL Government to Spray Herbicide on Provincial Roads

I received a notice that the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador will be spraying a herbicide on many of our roads to clear the brush from the sides. I don't see any roads that close to us but this must be a bit of a concern considering they are going to be using a powerful herbicide that could be dangerous to your health.


These are the notices that I received, please look at them carefully and if you have concerns call the number for more information. The herbicide they are going to be using is Tordon 101 Reg# 9007. Here is a link to product information if you want to have a look Tordon 101

Please be advised that weather permitting Newfoundland and Labrador Vegetation Control will commence an Herbicide Spray Program for WST starting August 2, 2012
  • Route 1 TCH
  • Adeytown - Clarenville,
  • Bonavista underpass to Port Blandford Route 210
  • TCH at Goobies to North Hr. Intersection.
The products that will be used in this spray program are Tordon 101 Reg# 9007.
